Marco came to AFH with his 8 siblings. He was born on or about 2-18-08. Marco is a shiny, coal-black black Lab mix and a bundle of fun. He's frisky and happy-go-lucky; his eyes sparkle and he's always grinning! He's loving life all the time and wants to romp and play and chew his rawhides. One of the smallest pups in the original litter of nine, he got lots of cuddling when he was a baby and consequently loves to be held, and will lay quietly in your lap to have his stomach rubbed. He likes to be sung to! He's especially fond of Christmas carols, with Silent Night being his favorite bedtime song. Interestingly, he rarely barks!! And now that his foster mom recently got another litter of younger pups to take care of, Marco has been a wonderful father figure to them all and is happy to play with, sleep with and occasionally discipline the younger ones. He is going to be a wonderful addition to some lucky family.
