Jessica, I've been putting off writing because I don't have a good picture loaded on this computer! We are doing so well. Lily is just a beautiful girl. I know she didn't plan on ending up in such a crazy family that just wants to love her to pieces, but that's where she is! We fight over who her gets her bed at night (and who gets to sneak her on the bed!). She has a special bond with each of the six of us, if you can believe it. Her ears move a special way for Daddy, she rolls to give her thigh for Sammy, she sits patiently (mostly) for litte Teddy, she follows sister Mina around like a toddler, she jumps on biggest brother Charlie with the gentlest paws in the world . . . and she lives for Mommy's every move all day long. I love her so much I just can't tell you. She is truly the fifth child I couldn't afford! We all have such a wonderful time watching her and her brother "Jack" (the orange tabby). He licks her on the nose, but still makes sure she knows he was here first. "Jack and Lil'" keep each other company when Mom runs errands. Lily finished her 8-wk training course in style. She had more "handlers" than any dog in history. Her knickname was "Lily Smarty pants." You would have been proud! Sam (9) was amazing with her. She has a multitude of dog pals -- several cousins and countless neighborhood pals. The dog park is a GREAT place! We love her for everything she is and everything that makes her special.
