Meesha was rescued from a puppy mill breeder who kept her and other breeding dogs in cages in a dark, unheated shed in filthy, cramped cages. Since arriving in her foster home, she has adjusted well and is learning to play. She does prefer to be in your lap at all times, though, and whines when her foster mom leaves the room. Once she comes back, though she settles in. She loves to stretch out on soft blankets and will cuddle on the couch with you. She also has accepted the fact that her foster mom has to go to work and naps on the couch until she gets home. Meesha does get along with other dogs and cats. She does not like to be crated as it reminds her of the life she lived at the puppy mill. Although she is not house broken, she is making great strides. She has never had an accident on the furniture and we believe she will be trained with love and patience. She is the ultimate lap dog and needs a lot of loving attention.
