Labrador Retriever / Italian Greyhound Mix

Nitro is a fun loving mixed breed. He's about 16 lbs and around 12 months old so he is as big as he's going to get. There definitely isn't a lot of Lab in the mix. He might have some Italian Greyhound and he LOVES to run! He would do great with some kids to play with. He plays catch, knows how to sit, and is crate trained. He's almost housebroken, having only an occasional accident. If he's in the middle of a great game he doesn’t always give himself much time to get to the door. Nitro is still recovering from demodectic mange so he has what looks like an interesting haircut. He lost quite a bit of fur but he’s growing it back and the vet thinks he'll have a full coat in the next few months. It doesn’t slow him down a bit. When he steps in front of a mirror he seems convinced he's pretty good looking. After playtime, Nitro loves a nap. He grabs a bone and wanders over to his bed or the nearest lap. His preference is cuddling with us but if that's not available, anything soft will work including another dog if they're agreeable. He gets along great with other dogs but the cat isn't very tolerant of his natural friendliness. Please let me know if you have questions or if you'd like to meet Nitro and can’t make a Sunday event.
