Beagle Mix

Lady Jane is an adorable beagle mix.  After having been adopted as a pup she was given up when her owner became seriously ill. Because of her owner's illness, Lady didn't get any exercise...but she did get lots of food!  She was substantially overweigh, had no energy, lost muscle tone, and she had serious toenail issues.   What a difference three months of rehab makes!!  Lady Jane has lost almost twenty pounds, she's had a good pedicure, and her energy level is great!  She now loves to go out and trots along on her leash for long walks.  (Truth in advertising -- all her walks are stop-and-start...she has a super Beagle nose, and many, many things require intense investigation on her part!)  Although she can no longer jump on furniture, if you leave a loaf of bread too close to the edge of the counter, she becomes a world-class athlete!  She is completely housetrained and has never had an accident in the foster's home.

Lady Jane is one of the quietest dogs ever.  She rarely ever barks.  (She does cry some when her foster leaves for work.)  She is good with other dogs -- especially those her size or smaller. She absolutely loves children...her favorite walk time is when there are many kids at the bus stop and she wades into the middle of them for pets and pats.  She is good with the foster's elderly cat...as long as the cat doesn't come too near her food bowl while she's eating.

In short, Lady Jane is a wonderful, loving, affectionate companion who will be a great addition to your household.
