Matilda is 2 years old and very lovable. She gets along great with children of all ages and is truly a family pet. She is not a barker, although she may join in if other dogs start. Her very energetic nature make a her a great companion to anyone involved in outdoor fitness. Due to her athletic abilities she is able to hurdle low fences. A yard with a tall fence and lots of exercise and walks are necessary. Her mind is always alert and needs to be challenged to keep her from getting bored and into mischief. Matilda should not be let of leash, as she'll run off and be very hard to catch. Matilda does not mind cats and just seems to ignore them. She gets along with other dogs and loves to play, although, with other females she may try to be the alpha dog. Her coat needs regular grooming as it attracts dirt and gets knotted. Matilda is very loyal and will make a great addition to anyone who will to spend a lot of time with her.
