Hello! My name is Dinah and I am a six year old full breed Shih Tzu and weigh only 6.8 pounds. My foster mom calls me her little princess as I am just a sweet, gentle, little girl. I get along great with my foster bother and sister and my foster kitty, even though they are larger than I am. I don't really play with them much, but do enjoy their company. I would much rather spend my time beside my foster mom. I am crate trained and remain quiet in the crate all night long and only start scratching to get out when I hear my foster mom's alarm. My foster mom is pretty sure I’m house trained, though she just hasn’t figured out my signal to go out yet. I do seem to hold it until we are outside and only had one accident since my foster mom took me home with her and that was her fault. I do not seem to play much, but really enjoy my walks. Every time my foster mommy even walks by the door I get all excited look up at her and give my "cute little face" and know she will let me out then--Oh, I got her trained all right. I have had an eye injury some point in my life and am blind in one eye. It does not slow me down; in fact you wouldn’t even notice when looking at me that I do have this problem. I fly up and down the stairs and I walk around as if there is no problem in the world. I am very confident with where I go and what I do. I will make a great pet for a first time dog owner, and absolutely perfect for apartment life. Don't let my age fool you, I am still very young at heart and ask nothing more than a bowl of food, daily walks, a soft lap to lay on with a gentle pat, and the words: "I love you my little princess" in that order.
