An older collie, Lady is sometimes a "special needs" dog and other times just a youngster in an older body. We thought she had mouth cancer--but that was in July, 2006, and here she is, still anxious for her daily walk and always looking forward to the chopped-up Kentucky Fried Chicken she can convince her foster dad to put in with her kibble. She likes to be quiet, but enjoys standing on the sidelines and watching the people and other dogs in her foster home. She loves to walk, and would enjoy a life filled with sightseeing...in her neighborhood and elsewhere. She is housetrained, but uses pee pads near her bed because she sometimes sleeps so soundly that she doesn't leave herself enough time to go outside. She's good at using her pee pads. She's full of love and wants her very own home to replace the one she lost when she ended up, old and sick and alone in the shelter..
