Hi! I'm Spanky..from a shelter in West Virginia. Times were tough there but I'm loving life in my new home in VA. I have a harem - one Jack Russell girlfriend, another Chihuahua girlfriend and another poodle friend down the street who all let me share their toys. I was not taken care of very well in my old home so my ears had some problems. I'm taking drops for them now but you have to talk loud for me to hear well. This means I'd probably be better in a house with older kids as sometimes I get frightened when I am surprised. On a brighter note... I'm housebroken and crate trained, walk well on a leash, love taking baths and when I do hear you, I will come when called. I really am a handsome boy even if a bit on the small and short side (fifteen pounds at last weigh in). People often ask if I am part doxie or corgy but who knows? I have long red brown fur, a tail that rarely stops wagging and when you rub my side I get a dog grin from ear to ear! Come see me on a Sunday and you'll see for yourself!
