Sam is a Rat Terrier, brought back from New Orleans on our fourth trip to the Gulf. This little boy is heartworm positive and has already undergone his first treatment. His foster family will have to keep this little guy calm for awhile, to allow him to heal from this illness. The top picture is Sam when he first arrived. The bottom photo was taken more recently.
