Carla came to AFH from New Orleans on our second trip. She is doing wonderfully in her foster home. Her foster mom says she is a doll!! She is sweet as can be and is working on her housetraining. All of the neighborhood kids love to give Carla attention when she comes out for her walk. One of the little kids has named her "Hurricane". She's quite a celebrity in the neighborhood. When she first arrived here she had a condition with her eye that has improved with medicine. She is happy as can be when her foster mom arrives home every day. She has the company of her foster mom's Lhasa Apso, Shu-Shu. Shu-Shu and Carla get along very nicely. They sit on the top of the couch and gaze out at the neighborhood looking for action. She has adjusted very well to her surroundings.
