Dante is a pure-bred Shih Tzu. He came to us from the shelter in Frederick County, Maryland. He was left at the shelter after his owner, a backyard breeder, was forced to reduce the number of dogs he is breeding due to lack of proper licensing. The vet estimates that he is about 2-3 years old.
