Jack Russells have a life expectancy of 16-20 years. NIKKI is a 10 year old rough coated shortie. He is up to date on his shots, HW negative, neutered and is in excellent health. Nikki came to us because his elderly owner has been hospitalized and his owner's immediate family did not want to care for the little guy. He loves going for walks and bounces like a beach ball when you bring out the leash. Nikki is calm for a jack russell. He is friendly with people, big and small and loves to play tug-o-war with his rope toy. He wants to be curled up near you and sleep under the covers or at your feet in the recliner. He is housebroken and should do well on his own with a doggie door but he is accustomed to having his people around and would be happier with someone who is home a lot. He also needs to be an only dog. Nikki is being fostered in Alexandria, Virginia.
