Miles is a very sweet, Lab/Shep mix in Radford, VA, who needs a rescue angel ASAP! He has only been on this Earth for a short 8-9 months, and already has suffered great adversity. The first people in his life ignored him, starved him and then cut off a portion of his tail. As if that treatment wasn't inhumane enough, they later abandoned this boy in a remote area. He ended up at Pound Pals of Radford, VA. Unfortunately, like many other dogs in shelters, his time passed too quickly and he was slated to be euthanized. A true angel entered his life at the last minute and offered to foster him. His foster mom must now leave town to care for an ill relative and Miles has no where to go. Miles has so much to offer if only given the chance. He is great with children, loves other dogs, is not a barker, does not jump on people and respects his kitty friends. He enjoys car rides, has no food or toy aggression, understands what no means and appears to be housebroken. This pup is very smart and only wants to please and be loved.
