Morpheus is a beautiful 7 month old black spaniel mix. He came to AFH very scared and terrified of people. His mother, his brothers and sisters and him were kept in a fenced back yard and thrown scraps of food. They had very little human contact. Their next stop would have been in a south western Virginia landfill where they would have to hunt for any food they could find. With the help of a loving foster, he has come out of his shell and is starting to trust humans. He is sweet, gentle and still somewhat shy. He is bright and intelligent and looking for a permanent, loving home.
