Terrie was rescued from a rural shelter in West Virginia. Because she is an Elkhound mix, we expect her to reach about 50 pounds. Norwegian Elkhounds were originally bred to track moose. They are strong, clever dogs and their thick, soft coat allows them to stand the cold and snow of Norway. They are a noble and playful breed.
