Hi! My name is Lexus, AKA Wiggle-butt! If you're looking for a young, sweet, affectionate, kissy-face dog, you just gotta meet me! My foster family gives me run of the house with their Golden Retriever while they're at work and I do just fine. I wouldn't think of chewing anything or having an accident. In fact, my golden buddy hangs out on one sofa and I have the other one. I also live with 2 children, a toddler and a preschooler, and I adore them. I sit down and LEAN so they keep petting me. The toddler has explored my ears, tail, nose, and even my teeth and I love it. I played chase with the preschooler....ok, I admit, I chased him around the kitchen table...and it was great! He squealed with delight when I got close. I also know when to slow down or to just stop. Since I put my mouth on him gently a couple of times, I might be scary for small kids without dog experience. However, all I did was leave some drool on his pants...oh, ok...I licked his face a couple of times too. For kids who love to be licked....I'm THE ONE! I use a doggie door without hesitation and I get along very well with alpha male beagle in the house. I just let him think he's the boss and we do just fine. I settle down quickly at night but I tend to be "velcro-dog" because I follow my humans around the house...just to see what they're up to. So here's the scoop: I'm great with kids, great with other dogs, housetrained and low-maintenance. What more could you possibly want in a dog?
