Spike is an AKC registered Beagle. He was a graduation gift to the current owners daughter, against her father's wishes. Spike's family has tried and tried to find just the right home for him, without success, and is asking AFH to help them find a new home. Spike is housebroken and loves people, dogs, and tolerates the family cat. He likes to chase squirrels and birds, digs in the yard, and loves food, like any good beagle. He is a rambunctious pup and loves to roughhouse with his doggy friends. He plays soccer and fetch. He knows to "Sit" for meals or treats and is being taught "Stay" and "Come". He adores going for walks, and loves to jump in the shower and ride in the car. Spike is young enough to adapt to a new home; he's both playful and affectionate. Spike is young, healthy, and strong---physically & mentally---and deserves just the right home with people who will love him forever.
