She also loves the water and would be thrilled to have a family to share her adventures with. Emmy’s story began four years ago when she and her friend Allie were found at an abandoned house. The two girls were trapped high up on a porch covered in urine and feces, with no way to escape. Thankfully, they were rescued and given the chance at a better life. A few months ago, Allie finally got her happy ending and traveled to Virginia to join her forever family. Now it’s Emmy’s turn. After completing her heartworm treatment, she is healthy, ready, and waiting for the home she has dreamed of for so long. Emmy has watched so many other dogs come and go, but she has never stopped loving people with her whole heart.
