Cherry

This is Cherry. She was found on the side of the road with a bloody head, unable to get up. She had been shot in the forehead with buckshot, and had a broken pelvis . It was also discovered that one of her front legs had been broken as well, but it had already healed. The vet suspects that she had probably been hit by a car twice in her short little life. She also was found to be heartworm positive. She's been treated for heartworm and had an FHO done. She is now heartworm negative and fully healed.  Cherry is doing great. She’s super playful and full of character. She LOVES to steal socks. She’s the biggest sock thief we've ever seen. When she gets one she runs because she knows she’s not supposed to have it. She’s such a funny dog. She is working on housetraining and doing pretty well. She is already crate trained. She sleeps quietly in her crate at night and never has an accident.  She will whine if she needs to go out.
