This poor little guy was in a pen with a bunch of other puppies in rural Louisiana and they attacked him. The owner apparently didn’t want to pay the vet bills so one of our rescue partners took him in. He was in the hospital for a week and he will always have scars. Hercules doesn’t hold a grudge though – he’s a happy little guy. He is crate-trained, sleeping through the night without needing a potty break. Hercules is learning a lot -- like "sit", "down", "leave it" and "come" and doing really well with his potty training (as long as someone takes him outside every few hours). He is very affectionate, a bit shy at first but curious, and great with kids.
