Post Office 3 Poncho

Male (Altered) — Date of Birth: 07/29/2023 (19 months old (Young))
Rat Terrier Mix

Poncho and his siblings were being given away at a post office in rural Louisiana before one of our rescue partners saved them. He is an engaging puppy, sporting a white jumpsuit with a tortoise-shell pattern on his ears, and has an endearing, winsome expression in his hazel eyes! He is crate trained and paper trained in the penned area in the house, and also sits in front of his people when he needs to take his business outside! Poncho gets along well with the older dog in the foster’s home and is respectful of boundaries when warned. Poncho gives wags and kisses to all who have met him. True to his terrier heritage, he loves to explore under bushes, root/dig in the dirt, and run full out as fast as his long legs will take him to the next destination within the securely-fenced backyard. He will begin leash training. Poncho would adapt very well to a home that will provide plenty of stimulating exercise, essential but fun skill training, and quiet time nestled near his loved ones. Of the siblings, Poncho has the curliest tail and wins all of the races handily! Although he is the first to take a nap or go to bed at night and the last to wake up in the morning, rest assured that Poncho is all terrier in his instincts, energy level and personality! As small dogs are in high demand, please don’t delay in sending us your inquiries or applications. The Post Office 3 have come a long way to find their forever homes, and the sooner the better!
