Barkley has a wonderful temperament. He may look as if he could be a terrific watch dog, but that’s just not his style. He is affectionate, easy-going, and calm. He does not bark much. He enjoys play fights but is never aggressive with his mouth. Other foster puppies in the past have done so much growling in their play fights that they scared their foster mom. Vivian’s puppies pounce on each other quietly and gently. Barkley is going to be a big boy. He’s the kind of guy any kid would love to have as a friend. He particularly loves chew toys.
