Salt
Salt is a sweet girl who doesn’t let her rough past phase her. She was rescued when her owner brought her and her sister to the vet to be euthanized because they had mange (which is easily treatable). She has fully recovered since then and has one of the kindest, goofiest personalities we have seen (plus she’s beautiful). She has a great temperament with people: She lets us touch her teeth and wipe her paws without putting up a fuss! She loves pets and will flop over onto her back for belly rubs. She loves squeaky toys, especially smaller ones that she can almost entirely fit inside her mouth. Sometimes she will stack her toys in her bowl and throw her toys herself so she can run and chase after them. She loves to play and wrestle with other dogs. Her foster family thinks she’s the perfect balance between being active and being a couch potato. She’s the kind of dog who will match your energy. She knows “sit”, is crate trained, and sleeps through the night. She is working on leash and house training. She’d be a wonderful addition to a family who will love her as much as she will love them.
