Ellie's 9 Echo

Female (Altered) — Date of Birth: 11/29/2021 (4 years old (Adult))
Black and Tan Coonhound / American Pit Bull Terrier Mix

Echo joined our family pack and we have much to report to the wider, dog-loving community. My 12 year old Sophia performed a "genius test" on Echo that she found online. Echo figured out how to overturn a cup covering a treat and escape like Houdini like from a small blanket placed over her--irrefutable evidence that Echo is indeed a genius, if only barely. Understanding that we had a brilliant doggy, we amateur dog trainers taught her sit, shake, lay down, stay, walk on a leash, not treat humans like other puppies (almost at advanced mode) and, most importantly, mess outside (almost at advanced level now as well)! Probably due to her high IQ, Echo is proficient in melting our hearts in various ways. She cuddles with any member of the family pack on movie nights or anytime she can, sometimes making adorable groaning noises of pleasure as she gets pet. She is excellent at wagging her butt along with her tail when she sees any member of our family pack for the first time in over an hour. When making weird, high-pitched whining noises from our human mouths for a while, Echo stares intently and then cocks her head to the side in an apparent attempt to figure out what is going on (again, genius). Echo also has a very amusing and not uncommon "shaky-leg poop mode". My 8 year old son Dylan discovered this mode early on and attempted to teach Echo to mess outside by showing Echo her own potty technique outside on the grass. I should report that this training technique has unknown effectiveness, but offers wonderful comedic relief when trying to remain patient in our Echo training efforts. We are highly confident that Echo would be an amazing addition to many other family packs as well. She is gentle, well-behaved with other dogs, very unlikely to run away, sheds minimally, is generally low-key (but definitely still has puppy in her), has an amazingly soft coat to pet, and will do just about anything to gain your pack's approval. If you get to adopt Echo, you will be very lucky to have her.
