Dottie JRT
Female (Altered) — Date of Birth: 04/04/2021 (4 years old (Adult))
Jack Russell Terrier / Beagle Mix
Dottie was rescued as a stray dog in southern Virginia. We believe she is a mixture of a Jack Russell Terrier and a Beagle. Dottie is full of love and energy. When someone sits beside her, she presses her whole body against them. When she sees the face of someone she knows, she pretty much flies. Dottie loves to go outside and run around in circles for the pure fun of it. She really enjoys chasing after balls and sticks and will bring the ball back 80% of the time. This girl is so smart! She is learning how to sit, shake, stay, etc. in a week with her foster family. She is learning not to pull on walks and doing well with potty training. Dottie enjoys other dogs (big and small), people, car rides, walking, fetching balls, and playing with toys. She is extremely alert; her fantastic smell and hearing ability keep her going all day. She will make an excellent watchdog and the family’s exercise leader. She would love a family with kids. She will keep up with children’s energy very well, and cuddle with adults when she rests.
