Gabbie
Gabbie is a cutie and a sweetheart. She already sits on command, obeys commands to leave items, responds well to treat training, and is house training well. She is not fully house trained, but she learns quickly and it should not take long to further train her. She also likes her crate and returns to it on her own after a play session. She entertains herself with a toy for considerable time then returns to her crate to crash and she sleeps quietly throughout the night. She tolerates me holding her paws and likes affection, particularly long belly rubs. She rarely barks and I believe she would do well with children. She is a puppy, so she has characteristic high energy and needs to be trained like all puppies, but she thrives on interaction. I believe she would excel at group training and perhaps at doggy daycare. I sense she is a good, balanced dog and would be a wonderful family dog. She had a rough start to life, but she has “shrugged it off” and is a happy, fun, and affectionate dog. She will bring light and joy to her forever home.
