Speckles was abandoned in a grocery store parking lot in Mississippi as a very young puppy. She came to her foster timid with a bad skin infection and open sores on her ears. After some TLC, she is now an energetic puppy with a beautiful black and white coat. She has learned quickly and does well in her crate overnight and while her fosters are at work. She rarely has an accident in the house. She loves to play with her foster's other dogs and loves just being outside lounging in the sun. She is still working on being on a leash and prefers to be able to run free in a safe, fenced in area. Speckles enjoys attention from people, especially first thing in the morning or when they first arrive at the house, but after saying hello, is good to go about her business. Speckles has done well with the three cats in her foster home and is learning to respect their boundaries and does great with children. She has also had the chance to meet some chickens, and attempted to play with them when they got loose! Speckles is an all around great puppy that any family would be lucky to have in their lives.
