Chaloopa and Nevaeh have a sad story. They were both taken in by a kind woman with an abusive husband. He pretty much ignored both dogs but threatened to kill them if they got pregnant and refused to have them spayed. She took them to the shelter to protect them. Two of our awesome foster parents stepped up to foster and these girls will have their puppies in safe, comfortable foster homes. Their puppies will get wonderful forever homes and the moms will be available for adoption too – as soon as their puppies are weaned and they are spayed.

Nevaeh is settling in wonderfully. She is sweet gives kisses already is non reactive to my cats and loves everyone especially my 10 year old daughter. Someone will be so lucky to have this sunshine!
