The transformation in Mindi since she arrived has been beautiful to watch. She came here timid and thin, and just within one week of a safe home and bed, with regular food and water, she has blossomed. Her coat got thicker and shinier, her eyes got brighter, and she put on some much needed weight. The best part was her gentle and sweet personality really came through. She startles with unexpected sounds, but that doesn't stop her from being sweet and trusting of people. All it takes is a kind voice and gentle touch to make her feel safe and then she's a total wiggle butt. She LOVES affection but isn't needy about it. She just quietly comes close for a pet, and if you stop she might lightly reach her paw out to say please continue! Mindi is really easy to have in the house. She gets along really well with our dogs, doesn't chew, and is house trained! And finally, she is the best mama. She did everything right with her labor and delivery is a doting mother. She's even good about letting us handle the pups if needed.
