Hi! I’m Angel, and I’m as beautiful as my name! The amazing volunteers with A Forever-Home rescued me from a shelter in the South after my family dumped me there just because I was pregnant. After getting comfortable in my foster family’s home, I gave birth to one bouncing baby boy, Arlo! He just found his forever home, and now it’s my turn! Since I’m young, I’m basically still a puppy myself! I am medium-sized, so I’m a perfect fit with all adults, kids and dogs. I love nothing more than to run around and cuddle with my foster family and my furry foster brother and sisters. I enjoy a good tug of war, playing with all kinds of toys and carrying all of my stuffed animals around in my mouth! I’ve never met a cat, so I’m not sure what I would do with one! I’m very energetic and fun, and it would be great if I was adopted by a family who is active and enjoys playing with me and giving me lots of attention. Having a canine brother and/or sister would be a bonus, too! I’m housebroken and crate-trained, but I need more time to master walking on a leash and learning training commands. I’m very smart, though, so I think I’ll catch on quickly! Sadly, I have been diagnosed with heartworms and will be starting my treatment process very soon. After that’s over, I will be spayed in January, and will be ready and raring to go home with my new family!
