Betty
Female (Altered) — Date of Birth: 04/22/2018 (8 years old (Adult))
Hound Mix
Betty looks just like an American Foxhound. She loves all adults, children, dogs, and cats. She is great walking on a leash and completely housebroken, provided you take her out in time. She has a perfect hound dog howl, but only uses it when she’s extraordinarily upset. She rarely barks. Betty does whimper when she needs something. She adores everyone in our house; we are a family with two teens and an elementary age child. As a nursing mom, she is hungry all the time and quite thin; but we have mostly convinced her she shouldn’t scrounge for food in trash cans or counters with redirection and a free-flowing food bowl. Betty also has heart worms and will need to be treated for those after she is spayed. As a nursing mom of seven puppies, she will not be eligible for adoption until September so that she can fully recover.
