Meet Queenie, A super sweet beagle, weighing 21 pounds. She is a submissive, gentle girl who gets along with kids, cats, and other dogs. Queenie was lived most of her life, chained to a small dog house since she was just 8 weeks of age. One of her siblings died due to extreme heat. She was owned by a family who bred her over and over again. She got free once and a neighbor tried to get the owner to surrender her – no luck. Finally, after two more years, the owner agreed to sell her to a concerned neighbor (likely because she was of no use to him anymore). The neighbor surrendered her to our rescue partner who got her fully vetted. She is doing great on her house training, crate training, and leash training.
