Beckham lost his home when his owners lost theirs and couldn't keep him. He is a sweet puppy that gets along with cats, dogs and kids. He's a sweet medium sized fur baby with gentle eyes and an endearing underbite. He is neutered and up to date on shots. He rides well in a car. Beckham knows how to sit as well as a fun trick called Sunday Stroll where he will let you hold his paw and walk with you on his hind legs for a banana slice treat. We are working on reinforcing his other basic commands as well as walking on a leash which he has picked up quickly although he pulls a bit. He will chase if something runs, but he will also cuddle up with the cat on the couch. He barks to announce when somebody arrives or during extreme play, but otherwise is quiet all day. He does well in a crate, but seems happy to be in a crate, but prefers to spend less time that there than he did in his previous home. He prefers being around the people and pets in the household. He would love a buddy to play with and would be good as a hiking partner. He has strolled thru the farmers market for hours getting along with all the dogs and people he met as well as sat quietly with fosters as they gardened or watched tv. He loves his foster's big fenced in yard to run around in. Beckham has a lot of puppy energy, but after he's worn out you will find him quietly laying by your feet with a silly snore from time to time.
