Meet Tater—PLENTY of personality packed into a 13 pound pup! He's a picture-perfect, purebred, brindle Cairn Terrier and has all of the traits to prove it! He'll greet you with a smile when he's excited and in the few weeks he's been in a foster home, has never met a stranger. A real sweetheart—he loves to cuddle and roll over for belly rubs, or be held on his back (like a baby) and admired. He is not demanding of attention and content to sit next to you on the couch, or relax on the floor or a dog bed. He is house-broken, crate trained, and enjoys going for walks and spending time in the backyard. Tater came from a rural situation in which he was allowed to wander freely and dangerously along busy country roads. Because of his strong terrier instinct to pursue all that crawls, scampers, hops or flies, he will require a fenced yard that he cannot crawl or dig underneath in order to stay safe in our suburban and city environments. He is great with other dogs, is fascinated by goldfish and other animals, and loves people (he has not had any experience with kids). Tater will thrive with that special someone who loves the spirit, energy, and companionship that only a Cairn terrier can provide!
