Rissa
Rissa came to AFH from rural Virginia, she had a skin infection which caused her to lose most of her fur. She has been treated by the Vet and is doing great now and her fur is really coming in - Rissa absolutely loves other dogs. She loves to wrestle and play. She is submissive and rolls on the ground saying play with me play with me!
She is the perfect size at 27 lbs. She loves to cuddle and play with her toys and collect them all into a pile. We've worked with her to build confidence. She just started feeling brave enough to go on long walks and now she loves them. She is a great sprinter and would be a good running companion. She is a little apprehensive around men but warms up, very active toddlers were a little scary and babies she wants to clean, she is comfortable around children. Rissa deserves a forever family that will give her an active fun life and spoil her with love, toys, cuddles and plenty of playtime with other dogs. She is a very special girl.
