Maisy, AKA Jugs, is a one of a kind girl. She came to AFH supposedly just after weaning her puppies, but then surprised everyone by delivering two days after her arrival! Those puppies are all settled into their new homes and Jugs is looking for a place to call her own. Jugs is extremely well trained. She walks perfectly on a leash, stays in place, knows basic commands and even a few tricks. She loves other dogs and is very entertaining to watch run and play. Jugs is extremely athletic, which unfortunately means she can easily clear a four foot fence, but she has also been e collar trained, so her new family could either transition her to an invisible fence or learn to use an e collar (if they are willing to put in some time to learn to use this wonderful tool). Jugs is part Shar Pei, so her new family will have to own their home. If you know about the characteristics of a Shar Pei, and are willing to provide Jugs with a structured environment, you will have the most wonderful dog!
