Skipper is a lucky dog. He was found as a stray by a wonderful man who searched for, and found his owner, only to be told that he didn’t want him back. Skipper was then brought back to Northern Virginia, treated for heartworms and lovingly cared for. Skipper is now with a trainer to work on his social skills and manners. He is doing well, getting along with the other dogs, walking on a leash and learning basic commands. Skipper is VERY athletic, loves to run next to a bike or chase a ball. Skipper could easily learn any trick or command you wanted him to know – think circus dog! He would do best in an active home as an only dog.
