Daddy

Daddy is very affectionate and likes to snuggle.  He is a little shy  but once he gets to know you he'll want to be your constant companion.  He gets along very well with other dogs, playing and sleeping with his two foster brothers every day.  When he's not playing chase with the dogs or getting belly rubs on the couch, he like to play with stuffed toys (and the occasional errant sock).  He is learning his house-training very quickly and walks well on the leash.  He rarely barks unless there is someone at the door, and he likes to spend time in his crate.  He would be comfortable as an only dog, or with friends.  He has not been tested with cats.  This sweet guy is looking for a stable family to share their home and their love with him.

He originally came to us from a rural county in West Virginia where there is no shelter. He was  abandoned outside and left to fend for himself. A nice woman took him in, which is how he came to be rescued.
