Leo was renamed Toby when he was adopted seven years ago at a year of age. He has now developed diabetes, which is being controlled with medication. His adopter is returning him because they are unable to care for him any longer. Leo/Toby is a very sweet little boy who loves everyone. He is great with other dogs and anyone he meets.
PREVIOUS HISTORY: This little dog was living in deplorable conditions in an outside kennel with two other dogs. Their owner left them with his parents. He put them in an outside pen so that all his parents had to do was feed them. Because Leo did not get groomed for a long period of time, his fur grew and became solid mats which made walking difficult and painful. When he was saved by AFH, he needed to be sedated and shaved down. He's now a healthy happy boy who is waiting for a forever home.
