Inga came from a hoarding situation in West Virginia where there were 20 other small breed dogs running loose and neglected. None of the dogs ever received any vetting nor were fixed so that number kept going up. Upon arrival to AFH she was seen by our vet. Along with being mostly blind it was discovered she suffers from EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency). EPI is easily managed with a daily enzyme supplement which is added to her diet. She has minimal sight because she does not seem to walk into things. She also maneuvers steps fine - she is just cautious and makes sure her footing is fine. She plays with some dogs. She's a beautiful little girl that deserves a nice quiet home of her own. Inga loves to cuddle and follows her foster around as she moves from room to room. Her favorite playmates are a young puppy and another chihuahua mix. She gets along fine with cats.
