Moonbeam is a great family dog with a calm and consistent demeanor. She is a very good listener, eager to please, and thrives on praise. She is gentle while playing with her human friends and patient with young children who like to cuddle with her. Moonbeam prefers to relax on a soft blanket much of the time, but has just the right amount of playful energy too. She is crate trained, but loves being out with the family when everyone is home and is well-behaved in the house. She is close to being housebroken, and does very well when we stick to the schedule and take her to her favorite spots. She responds well to rewards and positive attention for all training, and loves a variety of toys and treats. Moonbeam rarely barks, walks on a leash, and is making great progress with training to not jump or nip. She also follows an expanding list of simple commands without protest. Moonbeam loves her human companions and would do well in a home with children.
