My name is Lulu. I'm a young black and tan terrier mix and I weigh about 10 pounds. I'm also the proud mama of Daisy and Dixie who are pictured below. I'm sweet as can be, always very excited to see you when you first approach me but I settle down quickly. I'll bark for a second but I'm absolutely not a yapper. Even with young puppies to protect I'm not snippy, instead I'm cautiously friendly. But when I'm out of the x-pen I'm not even cautious, I'm just a love bug. And I love love love to go for car rides. I settle right down in the seat next to you for the duration. Regarding that picture... first off...everyone has a bad hair/bad picture day! After all, I've been through a lot lately. My pups and I were turned into the shelter by my owner who could not keep me. And even before that I was not cared for too well. I was infested with fleas which led to the hair loss which led to the bad hair day. I had an ear infection too. Luckily, AFH found me and my luck sure has improved. I'm on meds for the hair loss and ear problem so in a few weeks I'll look like a beauty queen. I'm still tending my pups but will be available for adoption on or about Halloween.
