Gracie is a 2 year old 15lbs PVGV mix. Her owner left the area and does not want to keep her anymore. Gracie is really coming along nicely. She is gaining weight and becoming more & more relaxed around new people. She is very good with the big dogs, in fact I would say she keeps them in line. She is very affectionate and is quite happy to cuddle up next to me while I am working in my office or sitting on the sofa watching TV. She prefers to sleep with one of the kids or on my bed at night. Gracie is "puppy pad trained" in terms of house breaking. It took me a few days to figure this out, but it explains why the owner transferred her with a package of potty training pads. She is learning from the big dogs and the more time she spends playing in the backyard, the more I think she will become more accustomed to going potty outside. I suspect she was kept indoors a lot previously.
