Isabelle & Fancie/Isabelle and Siblings

Female (Altered) — Date of Birth: 12/25/2010 (15 years old (Senior))
German Shepherd Dog Mix
Izzy and Fancie really need your help! These little girls were born on Christmas Day, but they had only attended one or two adoption events when their older foster sister gave birth to eight beautiful puppies on 3/24. (See "Valentine" and "Valentine's Sweethearts.") Ever since then, Izzy and Fancie have been under virtual "house arrest.".. They can't go back out in public because of the fear they might accidentally bring a hitch-hiking "bug" back into the house that the babies couldn't fight off. They can't even be on the same level in the house as the other foster and her babies. While they have a nice room downstairs, a large play area and a glass door to look through at the outside world, and even their own TV set, they really need a forever family to love and be loved by and to get on with the rest of their life! As their foster, we go down to visit them several times daily and tuck them in at night, but it is not the same thing as being an integral part of a family. Had they been attending Adoption Events this past month, they would be long gone, because this plea for help is not the same thing as saying this would be an adoption out of pity. These girls are healthy, happy, bouncy/pouncy adorable puppies!! Well, to be more accurate, Izzy is spectacularly beautiful and Fancie is just downright cute with fuzzy ears and pretty black-and-tan coloration, including a perfect tan necklace across her chest. Izzy is solid black, not a white mark on her...she looks like a piece of expensive black velvet. She loves to lay on her back up against my chest and have her tummy stroked -- I think she would stay there for hours if I could do that. She is very serene and has a lot of self-confidence, and periodically strikes a pose that is positively regal. Fancie is a little more timid and less sure of herself, and a bit more wiggly, but will settle down and lay happily in my lap for long stretches of time. They each weigh approximately 20+ lbs. at this time, (just shy of four months old), and will probably mature in the 45-50 lb. range. (Izzy is slightly bigger.) Please help these precious little girls find their forever home quickly, because otherwise it will be near the end of May before they can once again attend an Adoption Event and everyone can see what a wonderful addition they would be to a pet-loving home. (They are able to have visitors at the foster's home in Gainesville, with some precautions taken.)
