Border Collie Mix

Jess and Joseph are Border Collie mixes. Jess: I'm the quieter one. My foster mom says I have the sweetest disposition. I may not be the alpha dog, but I am definitely capable of stealing anyone's heart. I LOVE to snuggle and probably will always want to be a lap dog, even when I get bigger. I learned to "sit" before my brother and I listen pretty well. My foster mom gives us baths almost every day so I'm pretty used to the water. I don't mind it so much because she gives us lots of snuggles and treats afterwords. My favorite toy is the tennis ball. I seemed to know just what to do with that! I also enjoy stealing toys from my brother and then hiding them in my special corner where he can't get them. I'm gonna be an amazing dog someday and I hope that my forever people find me soon! Joseph: My name's Joseph but everyone calls me "Joey." I'm a tough guy. I can outsmart any other dog! My foster mom is pretty sneaky though, she makes me do stuff for treats. I listen to her pretty well... most of the time. Sometimes, I just like doing my own thing. I'm a talker. I like to let people know I'm around. I don't bark too long though because I usually get tired and just sleep. This is pretty normal for a puppy. Someday, I'll grow out of it. I need a home where I can be the alpha male and have lots of room to run. I love the tennis ball but my brother likes to hide it from me. I follow my foster mom from room to room to make sure she's safe. That's my job as the "dog of the house!" I'm looking to go to a home that's had a dog before and knows how to train me and teach me boundaries.
