Hi! My name is Maggie Mae and I am about 2 years old and a beautiful chocolate brown and white cocker spaniel. I came from a place that had way too many dogs. Although despite how bad it was there I am a very sweet little girl that wants to curl up on your lap and just be with people. I am house trained and crate trained. I LOVE to go on walks and am very excited when you get my leash. I am also good with other dogs and am pretty decent around my foster kitties (I will chase if they get in my face). I am afraid I do get a bit possessive with my food, bones, and toys. This behavior can be modified in time as I learn who is boss, learn basic obedience and eventually learn to share. However it will be best if I found a home that does not have young children as they may try and take my food and I am not going to understand. I am okay in taking treats from your hand although I tend to jump up and grab it. My foster mom is starting to work with me, teaching me who is boss, and introducing the basic commands. Although, I am not very patient and lose interest fast, eventually I will get it. Over all I am a real sweet dog and will make a great family dog as I want nothing more than your attention. My energy level is perfect for apartments, as I am calm indoors. When I am outside I get energetic and always wanting to be on the go.
