Sammy arrived Saturday with 50 other dogs and cats. He was so quiet and patient waiting in his crate to be unloaded. Most of the other dogs were stressed and barking. Not Sammy. He is the EASIEST foster dog I've ever had. He is totally laid back. He had a seamless transition into our house with 3 other dogs. He is sweet, easy going and appears to be house broken. I put him in his crate at night and heard not a peep out of him. He walks well on leash. His only fault so far is that he chased our cat out of the kitchen. She has since avoided him...He is playful but has not chewed on anything other than the toys we've given him. He's met a lot of the dogs in the neighborhood, and if they bark, he just happily keeps on walking. He loves to be held in your lap and will fall right to sleep belly up it you rub him. He doesn't bark hardly at all. EXCELLENT temperament. Will make great companion or family dog.
