This adorable girl is Cassie. She was originally adopted from a shelter in Florida. We are unsure of her breed, but one guess is that she is a Lab/Sharpei. She is 4 years old and such a sweet girl. When she came to us, it was discovered that she had an enlarged spleen and cancer was feared. Thanks to an astute vet at Chantilly Animal Hospital, however, it was found not to be cancer but rather a rare condition where the spleen flipped over. Now that she has recovered from surgery, we expect her to live a long, full life. Cassie is great with children and is very affectionate. She was raised with two young girls and loves to curl up in their lap to go to sleep. She is smart and has good house manners--she normally is not allowed on the furniture--and is housebroken. She knows how to sit, lay down, and roll over on command. When you ask her to lay down, she automatically rolls over onto her back. She also loves to have her belly scratched. Cassie is also good at walking on a leash. Won't you give this girl a chance to show you how wonderful she is?
