SIMBA is a very playful, happy boy. He is very energetic and loves to run. He thinks a walk of a mile or two is merely the warm-up for some big event. He is one of the most intelligent dogs you'll ever meet and would be a good candidate for that new TV series about trained dogs and their masters! I think, given the right training, he could learn to do just about anything. He responds promptly to "Sit" and "Down" commands, but has trouble maintaining the pose until given the okay to move. He'll keep bringing you toy after toy until you just have to break down and play with him. Here at his foster home tries to play with their cat, but she's getting up in years and isn't gamer. This boy is still a little mouthy, but knows very well not to bite. He is completely housebroken and also perfectly comfortable in his crate. He really likes people and enjoys all the attention he gets -- pets and scratches and hugs -- when he goes for walks in his foster neighborhood. He would probably be an excellent companion to another high energy dog that needs a playmate or someone who regularly jogs or takes daily trips to the dog park.
